I started with Accenture as a Change Management consultant and moved into various internal HR positions. In 2001, I left the company to stay home with my triplets. While I was on my career break an old Accenture contact called me about a human resources consulting opportunity at a mortgage bank. I did part time consulting for the bank helping to develop and roll out a new performance management program and revamp job descriptions. I also did some HR coaching for an outplacement company. In 2004 I got a call from Accenture asking if I would be interested in coming back and joining the recruiting team. While recruiting hadn't been my main focus in my past HR positions, they thought I would be great for the team based on the breadth of my experience and my knowledge of the company. I worked in recruiting for about four years and am now Accenture's Global HR Lead for the Marketing and Communications workgroup where I provide HR support to 600+ people.
